Getting started
Banger is an X post queue. Write posts and threads, add them to the queue, and Banger publishes the next item after your spacing interval, measured from your latest real post on X.
- Sign in at /login with the X account you want to post from. The first X sign-in creates your Banger account.
- Connect the same X account for publishing when the queue asks. Allow Banger to read and publish posts. Publishing tokens are encrypted and never sent to your browser.
- Compose a post or thread, add up to four images or one video per part with alt text, then choose Add to queue. Post now publishes immediately and skips the queue.
- Set the post interval under Schedule (15 minutes to 24 hours; one hour by default). New items join the end of the queue. Pause queue stops publishing and Resume continues.
Banger is not a calendar: there are no time slots. If you post directly on X, queued posts move back and keep their order.
Free vs Pro limits
A text post costs 4 credits. Link and quote posts cost 41 credits because X charges more for them. Allowances reset on the 1st of each month (UTC).
- Free: 12 text posts/month (50 credits), 10 queued posts, threads up to 3 parts and 5 draft analyses/month. Text posts and replies only; links and quotes need Pro.
- Pro: 120 text posts/month (480 credits), 100 queued posts, threads up to 10 parts, 100 draft analyses/month, with link and quote posts.
- Lifetime: paid once. 75 text posts/month fair use (300 credits), 100 queued posts, threads up to 10 parts, 100 draft analyses/month, with link and quote posts.
Billing
Paid plans are sold and processed by Polar (polar.sh), the merchant of record. Polar handles payment, receipts and taxes.
- Manage or cancel a Pro subscription in the Polar customer portal. Open the portal link in your Polar receipt or purchase email, or sign in at polar.sh with the email you used at checkout. Cancelling stops renewal; paid limits stay until the end of the paid period.
- Lifetime is a one-time payment. It does not renew, and its limits stay available for the life of the product, with fair use of 75 posts/month.
- Refunds are handled through Polar. Contact support with your Polar order or receipt if you need help.
Troubleshooting
X connection expired. The queue stops sending and asks you to reconnect. Open the queue and choose Reconnect X (or Connect X if the account was never connected), then allow publishing access. Queued posts stay in place.
A post failed to publish. Open the failed post in Queue and read the error. Check on X first to confirm it did not publish. If it did not, choose Edit & retry. If a send was uncertain, Banger stops it for review instead of retrying and risking a double post; confirm on X, then stop the post to unblock the queue and re-add it if needed.
X is rate limiting posts. X limits how often Banger can publish and read. The queue waits and retries after the limit resets; posts are not lost. Check X now refreshes the account state.
I can’t sign in. Use Continue with X on /login. If you set an email and password in Settings, you can sign in with those instead. If X sign-in loops or reports a connection error, try again in a fresh tab and allow the redirect. Forgotten passwords can be reset at /forgot-password. Make sure you use the same X account that owns your Banger account.
The queue says paused. Choose Resume on the queue. A quota pause clears when you upgrade or when the monthly allowance resets.
